? Bachelor s or higher in health informatics or equivalent discipline in health information management
? 20+ years experience with leading subject matter expertise to support Health care related projects, lead analysis sessions and workshops to define user requirements, assist and advise project team members, lead training and adoption for end client and deliver impactful outcomes for clients.
? Experience identifying gaps and optimization opportunities and defining business use cases to solve client challenges through Data & AI solutions.
? Experience collaborating with healthcare executives and IT teams to assess and develop comprehensive healthcare IT strategies, especially related to the adoption of new technologies such as AI/ ML and data analytics and Generative AI.
? Knowledge of major EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts), processes and data flows into and out of these EHR systems, Clinical data reconciliation (ontologies, taxonomies, semantics, etc.) from disparate sources, as well as clinical data exchange formats such as Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), and Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (CCDA).
? Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, ICD-10, CPT, CCD).
? Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, healthcare data privacy, and security standards.
? Experience working with population health management tools, analytics platforms, or predictive analytics for healthcare decision-making.
? Familiarity with non-clinical healthcare data such as claims, billing and payments, costs, etc.
? Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks and best practices for managing patient data, improving workflows, ensuring compliance, and optimizing data quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
