Linux Administrator - Storage Specialist

IDR is seeking a Linux Admin to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA.

Position Overview for the Linux Administrator:
? Install and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
? Manage user accounts and security settings.
? Monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
? Deploy and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
? Monitor storage capacity and performance.
? Implement RAID and manage LVM.
? Ensure data protection with backup tools.
? Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
? Maintain system and storage documentation.
? Work with DevOps and database teams for integration.
? Provide support during maintenance and outages.

Required Qualifications of the Linux Administrator:
? 3+ years managing Linux systems.
? Strong experience with storage technologies (SAN, RAID, LVM).
? Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python).
? Knowledge of backup practices.
? Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
? Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, SSH).
