Medical Insurance Collections Specialist (REMOTE)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Follow up on invoices sent to payers that have not yet been paid
• Research denials and work on converting them for payment
• Process at least 5 claims per hour while managing a portfolio of payers
• Assist with billing efforts by eliminating denials and keeping payer rules up to date
• Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly collection goals set by management

What is Required (Qualifications):
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Medical Insurance Collections, healthcare, medical office, or customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong basic math and accounting skills
• Proven ability to manage in a high call volume environment with accuracy and efficiency
