About the position
As a Business Office Manager at Stellar Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of the business office within a skilled nursing facility. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still making a significant impact on the lives of seniors. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, as well as preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger. Your expertise in healthcare finance will be essential as you coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). In addition to financial management, you will prepare and present financial reports to facility management and the corporate office, manage the payroll process, and monitor census data to ensure proper billing and reimbursement. You will also oversee the facility's petty cash and cash receipts processes, providing support and guidance to the management team on financial matters. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes, particularly with Colorado Medicaid Billing, as well as experience with electronic medical records and billing systems. Responsibilities

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
