Remote Scribe -Independent contractor

CCT has immediate openings for experienced remote scribes to transcribe dictated office visits and procedures into NextGen EHR. This is an independent contractor position. Straight typing coverage during afternoon/evening on word document typing account is also required during the shift.

Compensation: Compensation as an independent contractor. Remote Scribe production pay is $1.00 per audio minute of dictation. We do charge a $0.20 per audio minute fee for initial training on our accounts.

Schedules:
? We have current openings for Part-time Remote Scribes to provide afternoon, evening and weekend coverage. Giving special attention to Sunday evenings.

Experience
? Minimum of 3 years remote medical transcription and/or remote scribe experience
? Must have experience with medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare documentation
? NextGen EHR experience strongly preferred

System Requirements
? Must own a Windows-based (Windows 10) computer (MAC not compatible)
? Must own a Philips, Infinity in-USB-1, or Infinity in-USB-2 foot pedal (unless you plan to use hot keys to control the audio)
? Must have a reliable, secure, and private high-speed internet connection

Skills and Abilities
? Must be proficient in EHR transcription/documentation. (NextGen EHR experience a plus!) Please list the EHRs you have experience with.
? Strong work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work well independently
? Must be a US resident, authorized to work in the US

Essential Functions: Accurately transcribe dictations directly into EHR.

Ideal Candidates: Medical transcriptionists/scribes with experience transcribing dictation into an EHR.
